For the upcoming grant cycle, artists in the following disciplines are invited to apply: visual arts, performing arts, film, and literature. In addition to funding, artists will receive consulting services and become part of a community network of fellow artists and advisors; one grant recipient from each state will win an additional prize. Multidisciplinary, technology, and/or socially-engaged projects are welcome in every category.

Funding is intended to support education, intervention, and research projects that use psychology to address social problems in the following priority areas:

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations, public libraries, and K-12 schools in multiple states for programs that focus on student literacy. Funding is intended for organizations that provide literacy programs that target students who are below grade level readers. Eligible organizations must provide direct literacy services within a state that Dollar General Corporation operates in and whose organization address is within 15 miles of a Dollar General store.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International individuals to participate in an accelerator program to explore improvements in the running of business events and exhibitions. Participants will brainstorm with colleagues both virtually and in person about this year's theme - innovative and unconventional formats to inspire the next evolution of event models. The theme will be developed through discussions, sponsor support, and a workshop. This is a seven-month project alongside peers from around the world.

Grants of up to $10,000 to USA nonprofit organizations and individuals for programs and projects to support people with cystic fibrosis and their families. Funding is intended to support established and new initiatives to support the daily needs of individuals with cystic fibrosis.

Grants to USA early-career researchers at IHEs for research projects related to the criminal justice system. Funding is intended to give assistant professors the research experience necessary to advance in the field, while also providing research and dated needed to inform policy.

Award of $25,000 to a USA medical school faculty member to acknowledge efforts to achieve justice and equity for minorities in the fields of healthcare and medical education. The recipient will be awarded a grant for a project that supports the equity and needs of ethnic and racial minorities.

Grants of up to $5,000 to USA, Canada, and International groups and individuals for projects and programs to benefit the science writing field and provide professional development opportunities for writers. Priority will be given to proposals for novel events, projects, and resources that the NASW grants program has not supported in the past.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit and for-profit organizations for research projects addressing gambling behaviors and disorders. Funding is intended to support high-quality projects led by researchers with a PhD, MD, or similar degree. Early career researchers are encouraged to apply.

Grants to Wisconsin nonprofit organizations and government agencies to enhance the lives of local residents in eligible counties. Funding is intended to support programs and projects within a wide variety of focus areas, including but not limited to, basic needs, arts and culture, housing, medical research, mental health, the environment, and older adults. Eligible proposals benefit Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, and Washington counties.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations in multiple states and locations for programs that benefit local residents. Funding is intended for projects and activities that focus on nutrition and food security; military service members, veterans, and first responders; career training and environment; and Special Olympics and young people. Eligible organizations are located within a 30-mile radius of the area served by the funding source.

Grants to Wisconsin nonprofit organizations to help families and children who have been impacted by poverty in eligible communities. Funding is intended to assist families in meeting their potential and overcoming obstacles. Proposals must include information regarding what audience will be served, demonstration of need, and measurable outcomes (both expected and already achieved). Programs must serve children and families in Milwaukee County.

Grants of up to $40,000 to USA nonprofit organizations for natural resources conservation and management. Applicants are required to submit a letter of inquiry prior to submitting a full application. Funding is intended to support initiatives to protect the environment and conserve marine resources. General grants focus on the conservation of natural resources in eastern North America and the Caribbean Basin, with an emphasis on the United States. Site-specific grants are limited to South Florida and Alabama.

Opportunity for Wisconsin early-stage companies in eligible locations to participate in a business development program. Participants in the no-cost program receive coaching and mentorship, deals and perks, investor opportunities, and post-program support. The goal of the program is for graduates to continue in an investment accelerator or raise a seed round. Eligible applicants are based in Kenosha.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International organizations, NGOs, educational institutions, and businesses for projects to expand online financial services. Funding is intended to support yearlong projects to help firms join an online financial network. Priority will be given to projects that involve communities that have, and continue to be, systemically and deliberately excluded from financial access and empowerment opportunities.

Grant to a USA, Canada, or International nonprofit or for-profit organization for research investigating the dangers associated with working in the gambling industry. Applicants must submit a letter of intent prior to applying. Funding is intended to determine the impact working in the industry has on employees' mental and physical health.

Opportunity for USA individuals, teams, and private entities to propose solutions using quantum technologies for a wide range of biomedical uses. Applicants are advised to complete required registrations in advance of the deadline. The program aims to address key subject areas by incentivizing multidisciplinary teams (biomedical, quantum scientists, engineers, computational experts) to work together to apply emerging quantum-enabled sensing approaches to biomedical research and clinical applications to broaden current capabilities in areas such as early detection, diagnostics, and therapeutic development.

Grants of up to $50,000 to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit and for-profit organizations for research projects related to the safety of lottery gambling. Funding is intended for studies on Italy's lottery program that address critical questions related to minimizing harm, public awareness, and cultural relevance.

Grants and in-kind support to USA cycling event organizers to arrange and run cycling events for beginners, junior cyclists, and women. In addition to funds for the promoters, clinics will be offered to help new participants prepare to compete in a variety of events including competitive road, mountain bike, cyclocross, and track events.

Grants to Wisconsin organizations for projects and programs to benefit children with disabilities in eligible communities. Applicants will be asked to describe the goals of the program and the expected outcomes. Eligible programs are those that benefit children with physical and intellectual disabilities in Appleton and communities within a 50-mile radius of Appleton.

Grants of up to $30,000 to Wisconsin nonprofit organizations for new and established programs that benefit communities in the funding source's service area. Funding is intended to address operational or programmatic needs. Program priorities include mental health, obesity prevention, chronic disease reduction, alcohol and substance abuse, and rural populations. Eligible programs benefit Mayo Clinic Health Sytem's Northwest Wisconsin region service area.

Funding may be used to help women with existing businesses, but priority is given to applicants requesting funds for businesses in the start-up phase. Eligible applicants are located in Buffalo, Clark, Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, Pepin, Pierce, St. Croix, Trempealeau, Barron, Burnett, Polk, Price, Rusk, Sawyer, Taylor, and Washburn counties.

Grants of €5000 to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations for initiatives that lead to social change. Funding is intended for organizations that employ creative methods to advance social justice and address environmental issues. Priority is given to organizations that effectively tackle significant social and environmental challenges; focus on disadvantaged and/or marginalized communities; have a global perspective; and work primarily with youth aged 16-27.

Fellowships to USA public school educators for professional development with a focus on global competence. The fellowship includes travel, room, and board. Professional development activities include webinars, a conference, coursework, and field study in a foreign country. The 2026 location will be Costa Rica.

Grants to USA and territories state and local agencies, nonprofit organizations, IHEs, and Tribes to improve public transportation in rural areas. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to finalize. Funding is intended to provide technical assistance to transportation systems that serve rural areas and also those that operate within tribal lands of Federally Recognized Native American Tribes (FRNAT).

Grants to USA and territories IHEs, for-profit and nonprofit entities, government agencies, and Tribal Nations for research to address knowledge gaps regarding wind energy. Funding is intended to collect data and advance tools that will improve the performance and cost-effectiveness of large commercial turbines.

Grant to a Wisconsin nonprofit organization, Tribal health department, or professional association to address disparities in heart health in priority populations. Applicants are advised that required registrations must be completed prior to applying. Funding is intended for collaborative work related to the following priority populations: males, adults 24 to 54-years-old, people who identify as Black, Medicaid recipients, and individuals with disabilities.

Grants of up to $30,000 to Wisconsin organizations to establish and oversee programs that monitor family weight and childhood obesity. Applicants are advised that required registrations must be completed prior to applying. Preference will be given to applicants based in or providing services in one of the CDPP-identified high-need counties: Adams, Ashland, Brown, Clark, Fond du lac, Forest, Grant, Green Lake, Jackson, Juneau, Marinette, Menominee, Milwaukee, Monroe, Racine, Richland, Rock, Rusk, Sawyer, Shawano, Trempealeau, Walworth, Waushara, and Winnebago. If not in one of these counties, ability to demonstrate need for FHWP in your community is required.

Grants to Wisconsin tribal health departments, community-based organizations, nonprofit organizations, and coalitions for programs that address nutrition concerns and diabetes. Funding is intended for systems-level projects that work with community pantries or food banks to expand food offerings to include nutritious, culturally affirming options and update guidelines related to food donations. The grant aims to enhance the built environment to make healthy foods more accessible in the community.

Opportunity for a USA, Canada, or International organization to manage a youth program to promote sports in local communities. The program will offer the cohort of young people funding for projects, connection with a worldwide network of youth, and expert guidance and coaching. The applicant must be able to ensure the program's long-term success, monitor its progress, involve stakeholders, and oversee program administration. Seed funding will be provided by the IOC to the participants to transform their ideas into impactful, sustainable initiatives.

Grants to USA IHEs for innovative programs that integrate professional skills, improve departmental culture, and generally strengthen the skills and knowledge of undergraduate engineering students. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to finalize. Funding is intended to better prepare these students to successfully join the workforce.

In-kind equipment donations to USA K‐12 schools to improve student access to healthier food. Funding is for food equipment kits that increase awareness of the importance of good nutrition and provide students with healthy food options at school. Consideration will be given to schools in underserved communities, whose students are most at risk for poor nutrition and childhood obesity.

Grants of $15,000 and in-kind support to USA indigenous artists to encourage professional artistic growth. Funding is intended to support artists that are in the early stages of their careers. Eligible disciplines include poetry and fiction writing, dance and choreography, video and film, music, multi-disciplinary arts, performance art, theater and screenplay writing, traditional arts, and 2D + 3D visual arts. Grants are open to members of American Indian tribes, Alaska Native corporations, and individuals of Native Hawaiian ancestry.

Fellowships to USA and territories researchers affiliated with institutions of higher education and nonprofit organizations for collaborative scientific research activities. The purpose of the program is to provide career development opportunities for fellows and improve the research capacity of host institutions.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International individuals and organization representatives to arrange gatherings to discuss skin diseases. Funding is intended to offset the cost of travel arrangements for speakers, rentals, catering, and transportation for research-based and topic-centered workshops, conferences, meetings, and symposia focusing on skin and skin diseases.

Grant to a USA agency, nonprofit or for-profit organization, IHE, or Tribe for research on traumatic brain injuries. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended for research studies that will improve the long-term health outcomes of people with traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Fellowship to a USA, Canada, or International MD or PhD for research studies on the topic of ocular cancer. The purpose of funding is to encourage specialization in the fields of uveal melanoma biology, ophthalmology, ocular oncology, or related areas. Eligible studies must be translational or clinical.

Grants of $50,000 to USA, Canada, and International MDs, PhDs, and those with equivalent degrees for research regarding novel treatments for ocular/uveal melanoma. The purpose of the program is to use basic research to identify responsive druggable targets. Eligible uses of funds include salary and benefits, graduate students, or research assistants, supplies, and equipment.

Grants and in-kind support to USA, Canada, and International youth and young adults to conduct environmental sustainability and climate change projects. Eligible projects address issues regarding the following topics: sustainable food systems, climate change mitigation, packaging sustainability, and regenerative agriculture. In addition to funds, participant teams will receive intensive training and individualized mentorship.

Fellowships to USA and territories individuals to conduct research projects related to the humanities. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. The fellowships are intended to support a range of projects and activities that display outstanding analytics and high-level writing skills.

Award of $2,000 to a USA audiologist or speech-language pathologist to recognize outstanding accomplishments. Funding will be awarded for outstanding service in PreK-12 schools. Applicants should demonstrate how their activities have had a positive and significant impact in their field within a school setting.

Award to a USA, Canada, or International individual to recognize outstanding contributions to communication sciences. The purpose of this program is to honor an individual who has enhanced the quality of clinical care in speech-language pathology and/or audiology. The lifetime contribution may have been in clinical service, supervision or administration of clinical service, clinical research, or any other activity that has promoted clinical excellence. The Frank R. Kleffner Lifetime Clinical Career Award recognizes an individual’s outstanding contributions to communication sciences and disorders over a period of at least 20 years.

Scholarships of $1,000 to USA, Canada, and International psychology doctoral students to support travel expenses related to internships. Funding is intended to assist students in relocating from the site of their graduate program to the location of their selected predoctoral internship. Applicants must be graduate students currently enrolled in good standing in a psychology doctoral program that is accredited by the American Psychological Association’s Commission on Accreditation (COA) or the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA).

Grants to USA Tribes to plan and implement programs that employ volunteer staff to address critical community needs. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended for services that support veterans and their families, teaching Native languages, environmental stewardship, STEM education, and more.

Grants of up to $50,000 to Wisconsin nonprofit organizations and academic institutions to increase dairy, meat, and agricultural exports. Funding is intended to assist with a range of expenses including but not limited to translation services, event promotion, marketing materials, advertising, subscriptions, contractor fees, and travel associated with trade promotion activities.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International investigators for research related to hemangiosarcoma in canines. Applicants are required to create an account prior to submitting an application. The purpose of the grant is to develop innovative methods to prevent, detect, and treat this cancer.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations for projects to support the well-being of students and youth nationwide. Funding is intended for projects to benefit youth learning with initiatives outside the classroom as well as research projects that address the physical, emotional, social, and mental well-being of students. Priority will be given to organizations and programs focused on high-need communities and those affected by recent wildfires.

Grants of $10,000 to USA qualifying libraries to improve capacity and support operations. Funding is intended to assist libraries that provide services to refugees and/or immigrants. Funds may be used to provide essential services and may support technology, staff salary, materials, equipment, and promotion. Special consideration will be given to requests that benefit underserved or underrepresented groups.

Grants to USA journalists for investigative projects regarding health equity. Priority may be given to early-career reporters. Projects should focus on health topics such as access to care, health outcomes for BIPOC people, systemic racism, and the impacts of these inequities on populations.

Fellowships to USA journalists to research health inequities affecting families across the nation. This opportunity is meant to allow journalists to take time away from their newsrooms and deep-dive into the issues of health inequities, systemic racism, and their impact on families and communities.

Grants of up to $25,000 to USA, Canada, and International qualifying nonprofit, for-profit, and other fact-checking organizations to support work that addresses the harm of misinformation in journalism. Funding is intended to increase organizational capacity by supporting technical, material, and/or operational needs. Funds may be used for website development, staff salaries, professional development, cyber security, and other related purposes.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations, schools, and school districts to develop policies on students' phone use in school. Funding is intended for solutions that will assist teachers, school administrators, and youth from pre-teen through age 19 to navigate the complicated scenarios that face young people today. Grant recipients will embark on a five-month program.

Grants of up to $30,000 to USA nonprofit organizations and educational institutions to establish, expand, or maintain Japanese language education programs. Applicants must contact program staff prior to submitting an application. Funding is intended to cover expenditures related to the salary and benefits of full-time and part-time instructors of the Japanese language.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International organizations and individuals for projects that promote social justice and equality. Applicants are required to complete an eligibility quiz prior to submitting a grant application. The purpose of this program is to address inequality through feature-length documentary films. Grant funds will be distributed in the focus areas of social justice, innovation, and intersectional perspectives.

Grants to USA and Canada researchers at nonprofit institutions and organizations to research cures and treatments for childhood cancers. The purpose of this program is to support late-translational studies. Preference will be given to research projects that will likely result in the initiation of a clinical trial in two to three years from the start of the project, by, for example, completing IND-enabling studies, providing requisite preclinical data for clinical trial development, or perhaps through the validation of biomarkers that will enable selection of the correct patients for entry into new clinical trials.

Grants to Wisconsin businesses and commercial property owners to improve the appearance of storefronts in eligible regions. Applicants can choose from several categories of building improvements, including signage, storefronts, and facades. The purpose of the program is to support capital improvements to commercial buildings and foster business development in the City of Milwaukee.

Grants of up to $20,000 to USA, Canada, and International researchers affiliated with nonprofit research institutions to generate data related to SATB2-associated syndrome (SAS). Funding is intended for research addressing SAS as it pertains to sleep, behavior, speech and language, and global developmental delays.

Grants of up to $2,500 to USA young adults who are cancer survivors for assistance with fertility and other family expenses. Funding is intended to assist cancer survivors in building their families through adoption, fertility treatments, or surrogacy. Applicants must have a clear plan of action before applying.

Grants to Wisconsin organizations for programs, projects, and activities to improve the quality of life for residents in eligible regions. Funding is intended for initiatives that address community needs and invest in the longevity of the community. Eligible organizations serve residents of Boulder Junction.

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and International early career researchers at IHEs and research organizations to investigate the impact of AI on scientific research. Funding is intended for projects to help understand the impact that AI has already had and continues to have on the scientific research landscape.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International tech startup companies in the insurance industry to participate in a business development program. Program participants receive cash investments, networking opportunities, coaching, and mentorship, as well as office space. The selected businesses participate in a three-month, concierge accelerator program in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and International Masters and PhD students for scientific research studies. Research can address a broad range of topics including mathematics, chemical engineering, organic chemistry, agricultural engineering, and machine learning. Applicants studying in Germany must undertake placements in a second country and those studying outside Germany must undertake their fellowships at a German research institution.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International businesses to participate in a business accelerator program. Successful applicants will receive in-kind support such as mentoring support services, consulting services, resources, networking opportunities, and more. The purpose of the program is to foster innovation in the field of public health.

Opportunity for USA suburban and rural park agencies partnering with community-based organizations to participate in a training program related to sustainability. Selected agencies and organizations will benefit from peer cohort learning, coaching sessions, and personalized support from experts during the 16-week cohort. The purpose of the program is to increase the participating agencies' knowledge, understanding, and implementation of environmental sustainability planning and practices at parks.

Opportunity for USA and territories, Israel, Canada, and International filmmakers to participate in a unique mentorship program. Nonfiction filmmakers will take part in an immersive retreat with mentors, providing filmmakers with an opportunity to screen their projects and receive constructive feedback. Eligible film projects must be in the rough cut stage by the summer of 2025, and filmmakers must be able to attend the retreat in person. Five feature films will be chosen to participate.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations that work to save homeless dogs and place them in loving homes. Funding is intended for operating expenses, program expenses, and certain capital expenses. The purpose of the grant program is to help improve the quality of care of dogs in shelter or rescue, and to increase adoption rates through programs and new initiatives.

Opportunity for USA journalists to participate in a fellowship related to mental health and the workplace. Successful applicants will attend a two-day training program designed to promote in-depth, nuanced, and accurate journalism addressing mental health concerns, treatments, and advances at work. Particular consideration is given to journalists of color, those reporting for marginalized communities, and reporters for local and nonprofit news organizations. Journalists in any medium are encouraged to apply. The Fellowship will take place in Washington, D.C.

Grants of up to $6,000 and in-kind support to USA and Canada small nonprofit organizations for programs that address issues related to the well-being of women and children. Funding is intended for organizations that have a mission of enhancing the financial and emotional well-being of women and children. Eligible applicants have an annual budget between $25,000 and $1,000,000.

Grants of up to $50,000 to USA and territories nonprofit cultural, academic, and research institutions, government agencies, and tribes to preserve significant audio and video media resources. Funding is intended to support the digital reformatting of media that is fragile, obsolete, time-based, and of scholarly value. Preservation services must be performed by qualified external service providers.

Grants to USA and territories IHEs, nonprofit and for-profit organizations, and agencies for behavioral health programming in rural communities. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended for a variety of programs that will improve rural behavioral health care.

Opportunity for USA early-career public health leaders to participate in an accelerator to improve their leadership skills and capacity. This program is meant to prepare emerging leaders to take on managerial and executive roles in the public health workforce, and to have the skills to recruit and train the necessary future workforce.

Fellowships to USA researchers, authors, historians, graduate students, and journalists to conduct research on women's history. Funding is intended to cover the time and travel costs involved in conducting and publishing research. The fellowships will include financial support, research training, and in-person research opportunities at the National Archives.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International young adults to participate in a fellowship program to address climate change concerns. The program is offered to adults between the ages of 18 and 24 who are not in school and are interested in dedicating two years to pursuing climate change solutions.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International individuals and teams of small businesses and academic organizations to participate in a challenge related to protecting undersea infrastructure. Funding is intended for the development of technological solutions to monitor and protect undersea critical infrastructure.

Award of $5,000 to a USA, Canada, or International individual for contributions in mathematical research. The purpose of the program is to give recognition to authors for outstanding publications in the field. Eligible publications include notable surveys, books, or expository research papers.

Scholarship for USA library school students to attend a conference. The scholarship is intended for students currently attending a qualified information studies degree-granting program and for new professionals. The awardee will also receive a membership to a professional association. Funding will provide for conference registration, transportation, housing, and a stipend.

Grants to Wisconsin government agencies, tribal governments, regional planning commissions, and special districts to reduce pollution from stormwater runoff. Applicants are required to contact the funding source and receive approval prior to submitting an application. Funding may be used for planning and construction activities. The purpose of the program is to control urban nonpoint source pollution and stormwater runoff.

Grants to Wisconsin counties and tribes for projects related to seasonal trails. Applicants must contact the funding source prior to submitting a full proposal. Eligible uses of funding include development, maintenance, acquisition, repair, and restoration. Funding is intended for the enhancement of snowmobile trails.

In-kind donations of books to USA, Canada, and International youth-serving agencies and institutions to encourage reading among children and youth. The program is intended to provide books produced by African American authors and illustrators to build organizational libraries and bring books into the lives of children.

Grants of up to $2,500 to Wisconsin nonprofits, religious organizations, and government entities in eligible regions for projects that benefit local residents. Priority funding is intended for programs and activities within the focus areas of hunger, leadership, literacy, pathways, shelter, and youth and families. Organizations may apply for unrestricted (general) or project support. Eligible applicants serve New Richmond and surrounding areas.

Grants to Wisconsin nonprofit organizations to improve the lives of residents in eligible locations. Areas of focus include health services, education, civic projects, social services, and cultural activities. Funding is intended for projects that could enhance the quality of life in the Black River Falls area. Any non-profit organization in Jackson County may apply for a grant.

Grants of $750 to USA, Canada, and International K-12 teachers, community college faculty members, and community college students to support participation in the earth science disciplines. Awards will be made to educators and students in support of the following activities:

Grants to Wisconsin nonprofit organizations, school districts, and local government agencies for charitable programs and projects that benefit the community and improve the quality of life for local residents in eligible areas. Previously funded programs include classroom technology, care for the elderly, nutrition programs, respite and hospice care, and playground improvements. Programs must benefit residents in Monroe.

Grants to Wisconsin nonprofit professional theater companies for live performances in eligible regions. The purpose of the program is to support professional theater productions to benefit local residents. Funding may be used for production costs. Eligible professional theater companies are those seeking funds for performances at the Overture Center in Madison.

Award of $1,000 to a USA media exhibit, written work, or public program for an outstanding project that has enhanced public appreciation of North American West history. The prize is awarded to projects that contribute to a broader public reflection and appreciation of the past or serve as a model of professional public history practice in the history of the North American West.

Grants to USA middle schools for after-school athletics programming serving students in grades 6-8. Funding is intended for the acquisition of sports equipment, safety equipment, and uniforms. The goal of the funding source is to help as many programs and schools as possible.

Awards of $10,000 to USA and Canada youth, ages 8 to 18 years, to recognize outstanding contributions to their communities, the environment, and society. Awards are intended for recipients to continue their public service activity or may be applied to higher education costs.

Grants of up to $10,000 to Wisconsin nonprofit organizations for public humanities programming. Funding is intended to support a broad range of humanities programs and projects that are open to public audiences. There is a special interest in funding initiatives that promote meaningful community conversations about race and ethnicity.

Fellowships to USA and territories professionals in a range of disciplines to participate in a professional development and enrichment program in the fields of aging and healthcare. The fellowship program offers training in communications, professional networking, and current policy issues, providing fellows with the necessary skills and experience to change health and aging policy. The aim of the program is to ultimately improve the health care of older adults.

Grants to USA educators employed by schools and nonprofit organizations to enhance learning for PreK-12 students. Funding will support the development of extracurricular and in-class programming that improves learning and develops the abilities of children from low-income households.

Grants of up to $5,000 to Wisconsin nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for innovative arts programs. Applicants should contact staff prior to applying. Projects must include a public component such as an exhibition, concert, or performance. The project should provide a quality arts or arts-related activity or experience. This grant program is intended to promote the expansion of arts opportunities throughout Marathon County.

Grants to Wisconsin local units of government and Tribes for the acquisition, improvement, development, and maintenance of eligible local trails, routes, and areas. Applicants must contact the funding source prior to submitting a full proposal. Funds may be used to acquire, insure, develop, and maintain ATV/UTV trails, areas, and routes.

Grants of up to $50,000 to USA and Canada nonprofit organizations and businesses to start or expand eligible recycling programs. Funding is intended for residential curbside recycling programs, convenience site or drop-off recycling programs, and operations of recycling facilities. This program targets post-consumer foam polystyrene products, which include food service packaging materials and other types of packaging, such as egg cartons, meat trays, and protective packaging.

Awards to USA individuals and organizations to recognize outstanding efforts to improve the lives of blind people. Nominees will be considered for the positive impact they have had on the lives of blind individuals through programs, services, and individual work towards breaking down barriers and changing perceptions of blindness and blind people.
