Grant Description
Grants to USA Native American organizations and Oregon local governments and charitable organizations in eligible counties for programs that benefit Native American communities. Funding is provided for programs in the areas of alcohol and drug treatment, cultural activities, the arts, education, the environment, and natural resource preservation, gambling addiction prevention, health, historic preservation, housing, public safety, and other charitable purposes.

Charitable grants are awarded to charitable organizations and local governments within the Siletz Tribe’s service area (Lincoln, Tillamook, Linn, Lane, Benton, Polk, Yamhill, Marion, Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties) and to Native American organizations or activities located anywhere in the United States.

Charitable grants are awarded to charitable organizations and local governments within the Siletz Tribe’s service area (Lincoln, Tillamook, Linn, Lane, Benton, Polk, Yamhill, Marion, Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties) and to Native American organizations or activities located anywhere in the United States

Annual Deadlines:

1st Quarter applications due by 4:30 pm, December 1, 2022
Award notices mailed by January 25, 2023
Award distribution date: February 3, 2023

2nd Quarter applications due by 4:30 pm, March 1, 2023
Award notices mailed by April 26, 2023
Award distribution date: May 5, 2023

3rd Quarter applications due by 4:30 pm, June 1, 2023
Award notices mailed by July 26, 2023
Award distribution date: August 4, 2023

4th Quarter applications due by 4:30 pm, September 1, 2022
Award notices mailed by October 25, 2023
Award distribution date: November 3, 2023

Applications must be received no later than 4:30 pm on the date of application deadline. Late applications are not eligible for consideration. Quarterly deadlines are firm and final. Postmarks are not accepted.

Estimated Size of Grant
Grant awards have ranged from $145.00 up to $250,000 since we began distributing charitable funds. Generally, the average for awards is $5,000-6,500. There has been no minimum or maximum established. All applicants are encouraged to apply for their needs and include clear and detailed descriptions.

Term of Contract
An eligible application MUST have a project start date that occurs after the award distribution reception for that quarter.
Award Distribution Reception:
- Quarter 1: February 3, 2023
- Quarter 2: May 5, 2023
- Quarter 3: August 4, 2023
- Quarter 4: November 3, 2023
