THE CATHEDRAL CENTER SERVES WOMEN AND FAMILIES WHO ARE HOMELESS OR EXPERIENCING A HOUSING CRISIS. CLIENTS SERVED PRIMARILY COME FROM THE MILWAUKEE COUNTY AREA, THOUGH SERVICES ARE EXTENDED TO THOSE FROM THE TRI-COUNTY AREA - AND EVEN SOME FROM OUT OF STATE. UNACCOMPANIED WOMEN AND FAMILIES WITH DEPENDENT CHILDREN (INCLUDING TWO PARENT HOUSEHOLDS, SINGLE FATHERS AND SINGLE MOTHERS) ARE PROVIDED EMERGENCY SHELTER SERVICES, AS WELL AS CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES WHICH INCLUDE A COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT, INDEPENDENCE PLANNING, SUPPORTIVE SERVICES SUCH AS MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTIONS ASSESSMENTS AND BRIEF INTERVENTION, AS WELL AS WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES, LINKAGES TO COMMUNITY SERVICES AND OUTREACH TO WOMEN AND FAMILIES EXPERIENCING HOUSING CRISES.
