To educate low-wage and immigrant workers about their employment rights, develop youth leadership, promote community organizing, legislative education, and advocacy and electoral activism in order to achieve policy changes that benefit the immigrant community and the workforce at large.

TO PROMOTE GOOD CITIZENSHIP, BUILD CHARACTER AND DEVELOP AND PROMOTE BASKETBALL SKILLS AND TEAM BUILDING FOR THE YOUTH IN OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH TEACHING, PLAYING, AND COMPETING IN THE GAME OF BASKETBALL.

The Milwaukee Musicians Association, Local 8 of the American Federation of Musicians is a labor organization representing union musicians including four collective bargaining agreements. Its function is to unite the professional musicians within its jurisdiction who are eligible for membership without discrimination, regardless of race, religion, creed, color, political orientation, citizenship, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, or family status. To organize the professional musicians in its jurisdiction and to provide services to such organized professional musicians. To secure improved wages, hours, working conditions, and other economic advantages for the professional musicians in membership through collective bargaining and to establish terms and conditions for equitable and fair dealing among its members.

TO PROVIDE, THROUGH KIWANIS CLUBS, A PRACTICAL MEANS TO FORM ENDURING FRIENDSHIPS, TO RENDER ALTRUISTIC SERVICE AND TO BUILD BETTER COMMUNITIES. TO COOPERATE IN CREATING AND MAINTAINING THAT SHOULD PUBLIC OPINION AND HIGH IDEALISM WHICH MAKE POSSIBLE THE INCREASE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, JUSTICE, PATRIOTISM, AND GOODWILL.

TO PREPARE YOUNG PEOPLE TO MAKE ETHICAL AND MORAL CHOICES OVER THEIR LIFETIMES BY INSTILLING IN THEM THE VALUES OF THE SCOUT OATH AND LAW. THE COUNCIL IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEVOTED TO PROVIDING PROGRAMMING TO YOUNG PEOPLE WHICH RELATES TO FIVE CORE AREAS: CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, CITIZENSHIP TRAINING, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, AND PERSONAL FITNESS.
